1. Agreement
By visiting or buying from pawandtrail.com you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy and refund policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. We currently ship to US addresses only.
3. Products and pricing
We work to describe products accurately, but we don't warrant that descriptions, images or prices are error-free. Colors may look slightly different on your screen. We may correct pricing errors and cancel or refund an order placed at an incorrect price — we'll contact you first if that happens. Prices are in USD and exclude sales tax where applicable.
4. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when payment is captured and we send a confirmation email. We may decline or limit an order for reasons including suspected fraud, reseller activity, or stock limits.
5. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By checking out you authorise the charge for the total shown, including shipping and applicable tax.
6. Shipping and risk of loss
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers to the address you provided. See our shipping page for current windows and rates.
7. Returns and refunds
Our return policy is part of these terms. Read it — it explains the 30-day window and who pays return shipping.
8. Product safety — please read
Our products are pet accessories, not toys for children and not medical devices. No pet product is indestructible. Inspect gear before each use and stop using it if it's worn, torn or has loose parts. Choose the right size for your dog and supervise use, especially with chew items. We make no health, behavioural or training guarantee — individual dogs vary, and behavioural issues may need a professional trainer or veterinarian.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Paw & Trail and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury to a person or pet arising from misuse, incorrect sizing, modification of a product, or failure to supervise a pet. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Warranty
Gear carries a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It doesn't cover chew damage, normal wear, or loss. Contact us with a photo and we'll replace or refund.
11. Intellectual property
Logos, copy and photography on this site are ours or licensed to us. Don't reuse them without written permission.
12. Reviews and user content
If you submit a review or photo you grant us a non-exclusive right to use it in marketing, and you confirm it's your own honest experience. We may remove content that's abusive, false or infringing.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
14. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with the date above.
